The IOM releases the fourth Ukraine Internal Displacement Report
On 3 May 2022, the IOM released their fourth Ukraine Internal Displacement Report. The report details the results of the fourth round of a rapid representative assessment of the general Ukrainian population to “gether insights into internal displacement and mobility flows, and to assess local needs.”
The report states that there are 8,029,000 persons internally displaced within Ukraine (as of May 3), while the total number of internally displaced persons and refugees fleeing across borders has reached 13,686,000. The majority of internally placed people has relocated to western Ukraine.
