The CIRGH supports the development of interdisciplinary technical content for the MS in Global and Migrant Health Policy, offered by the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy. This degree is designed for both pre-service and in-service professional development in the study specializations of:
- immigrant, refugee and global health policy and programs;
- international organizations development; and
- methods and strategies for conducting implementation science research in low-and middle-income settings.
In addition to generating technical content for the MS program, CIRGH plans to both design and facilitate certificate and training programs for continuing educational opportunities. These educational opportunities are being designed for community health workers and migrant-serving organizations to strengthen the capacity of their workers. Topic areas identified by community-based organizations include: Migrant Health Worker training, mental health and psychosocial support programming, psychological evaluations for immigration court, and assistive technologies for community members. Check back for updates on this initiative or email us if you would like to host a training.
