Erinn Bacchus

Bio
Erinn Bacchus is a Guyanese-American doctoral candidate and social epidemiologist with experience in quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methodologies. Her research focuses primarily on incarceration and policing, where she has investigated policies affecting those incarcerated in NYC jails during the COVID-19 pandemic and the effects of policing on gay and bisexual men. Her past work has explored low-income housing in NYC and single payer advocacy among public health academics. She currently works with Dr. Nicholas Freudenberg investigating the intersection of commercial determinants of health (CDoH) and urban health.
